"I can't believe how many people are dropping Feghouli! "

Indeed. He's a shoo-in at RW this season.

I recon Chelsea will be quick out of the blocks. New manager, hoe game first in PL. Need to weather the storm of the first 25 mins. If we do I recon we can win.

Hopefully not a dodgy ref again

With you Fonz, I fancy he'll have a good season.

I fancy Carroll to bag himself 15+ goals this year and have a worldie of a season.

It begins tomorrow with a double brace against the rent boys.

Not seen enought of Nordvelt to know if he's good enough. Still don't get why Obiang always seems to be overlooked as he seems a good player.

AGree Private dancer, the truth is that Carroll is still a massive threat for us, defenders hate playing against him and I think Ayew could work well off him.

Probably as important as the team and tactics. Not sure who the ref is but do not be surprised in the slightest if the marginals go against us and one or two howlers as always seems to happen at Old Trafford, Emirates, Chelsea etc.

Sending off, wrongly awarding pen to them or one not given for us. You just know it will happen even if we perform well.

Re: Team for Chelsea
I really do believe that some on here who don't want a proper forward in the side (in this case Carroll) think we're going to turn up and start playing like Barcelona. Laughable.

I think we will take a while to get going and will probably have to settle for a scrappy 5-0.

Lump on at 80 / 1, our time has come

I did check what I wrote.........haha

We should win against Astra (twice) and Bournemouth.

My question mark is Chelsea away, but we should have won last year and we have a better team this year. Balance that against the fact the Chelsea sulk might be over but with new manager and a team full of wankers, I think 0-1 isn't unreasonable.

City's a bit knife edge, I'll grant you.

Anyone know who the ref is going to be?

Glad to see expectations aren't too excessive there Virginia!

Carroll will cause them problems again, need to give him service though and get Ayew feeding off his knock downs.

Re: Team for Chelsea
I'd treat the next 5 games as a single project due to the congestion and importance of getting results. I'd decide what was a good result after considering our best fit for the other side and then pick the team and manage the playing time appropriately.

Projected results.

win v Chelsea, 1-0
win v Astra, 1-0
win v Bournemouth, 3-1
win v Astra, 2-0
draw Man City, 2-2.

a) Three holding players against Chelsea, lots of pace on top. No Payet in starting 11.
b) Don't concede a goal against Astra, but enough creation to get a goal.
c) Huge statement against Bournemouth, tits out win.
d) Mix against Astra, start Fletcher, but enough experience to get through to group stages.
e) Full blown side, don't lose but be creative.

I like S'rAlf's side for Chelski but think Antonio will start instead of Byram.
